After a three-year absence, the 34-year-old K-Pop superstar is finally and officially back to the music scene with a brand new piano-led ballad: “The Best Present,” with the help of the “Gangnam Style” megastar PSY, reports Yonhap News Agency.
For this new track, Rain has slowed things down a little with much more romantic lyrics. However, his Michael Jackson-inspired dance moves are pretty spot-on, still.
“The Best Present” is actually a love song dedicated to his lover Kim Tae-hee, singer Rain admitted while making a guest appearance on KBS ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’.
“When you fall in love, you start creating such songs,” Rain commented on his new track, which he wrote the lyrics for himself.
For your information, Rain and Kim Tae-hee met each other at a TV commercial set in 2011 and officially started dating in late 2012.
