Capcom’s granddaddy of combat games is back.
Street Fighter has been the biggest name on the fighting game scene since it started it in the ‘80s.
This latest entry doesn’t have an overflowing roster like Street Fighter IV, and Focus attack is gone, but now there’s a whole new set of motions to commit to memory.
Each of the 16 characters have a defensive ability and offensive moves that can be pulled off once you’ve filled your V-Gauge.
The arcade mode won’t keep you busy for long, and Capcom’s working on a more in-depth story mode, set to arrive in July as free DLC.
But this brawler’s all about notching up victories, either online or in ‘versus’ mode.
Get into character
It wouldn’t be Street Fighter without Ken and Ryu, while M Bison, Chun-Li and Dhalsim return with new moves, play styles and looks.
Newcomers Laura and Necalli boast grapples and projectiles, and there’s the poison-spitting F.A.N.G.
Six more characters have been confirmed as DLC, including Balrog, Guile and Urien, which can be earned by winning online matches.
