Razer recently announced its ambitious new triple-screen laptop concept called Project Valerie during the CES 2017. This project is packed with innovative design and incredible performance.
Several days ago, Razer’s Project Valerie were snatched from its CES booth. Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan announced that two Project Valerie laptops were stolen and offered a $25,000 reward for information regarding the theft.
Days after the prototypes were stolen, they appeared on a Chinese auction site Taobao at 150,000 Yuan, which is nearly $22,000.
Now we know where the stolen projects are; and Razer should be able to get what is originally theirs back. However, even if they do get the stolen prototypes back, there is a high chance that the thief has already clone the blueprint of the prototype and might be looking to sell it to other companies. The secrets of this innovative concept has already been exposed to third parties.
What will become of Project Valerie then?
