Keang Chanboramey said she had one of the most amazing experiences of her life when she won the 2015 Cambodia’s Gadget Girl competition.
“Being able to stand onstage and talk to the crowd was a thrilling moment for me,” she told Stuff.
“The best memories that I had was able to share my ideas and knowledge to a lot of people, especially to the women in society.”
The 22-year-old said the campaign helped her realise her full potential and gave her the courage to stand up and talk to the public. “It also let me inspire young women to participate in the field of technology.”
Boramey’s advice to new applicants for this year’s Gadget Girl contest is simple: be yourselves and be confident.
And she still shares a strong passion for all things tech. Gadgets that have grabbed her attention in 2016 have been the new hybrid tablets which are able to replace PCs and enable people to work effectively and professionally on the move.
“I am still looking for the greatest technology of teleportation, which I believe will change the fate of humanity,” she added.
