The next generation of Kia’s popular city car that’s set to make its public debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show sports a more aggressive design – more sporty and stylish – than its predecessor.
The 2017 Picanto is 3595 mm long, while the height remains unclear. These first official pictures show the new Picanto in semi-sporty GT-Line trim, with chunkier alloys, bumpers and sill cladding than the rest of the range, reports the Car Magazine.
The wheelbase is 15mm longer than the previous Picanto to grant greater interior space, and the front and rear overhangs are shorter. Boot space has also increased.
No word has been given on engines as the company hasn’t released any official figures and full specifications yet, but Kia’s new small hatchback is expected to become a rival to the Honda Fit, Ford Fiesta or the Volkswagen Golf.
